This machine is made to work the lower part of the chest muscles. Although you sit almost upright due to the design the machine works the lower half of the chest. The unit make doing an exercise easy that would otherwise be hard to get in and out of position. With the independent arms you can work either side of the chest and don’t need to worry about being pinned under a heavy bar. The chest press is plate loaded and works with 50mm bore Olympic weight plates.
