The same principle as the Earthquake Bar, however, olympic weights can be loaded straight onto the Rhino Bar ends. The “wobble” (OKE) effect is a lot less, when loaded in this direct manner, but the bar still feels very nice to use, and it’s great for speedwork and has a nice “whip”. I personally like this bar used with both direct load and a more dynamic load (bands with weights, or, chains).

For me, the Rhino Bar is best used to directly load with olympic weights, alongside the use of chains or bands with weights attached (kettlebells or similar); this way, you get the best of both…lots of direct load, and some of the “wobble” effect from having some of the weight a little more dynamic, with the use of chains or bands.
